2 “Interim Documents“ refer to supporting documents required to complete an application for admission (e.g., English language proficiency, references, Security Clearance Checks, etc.).
3 "Final Documents" refer to official academic transcripts required to complete an application for admission.
4 International applicants applying to programs with earlier deadlines must submit all relevant information by the program’s deadline.  International applicants are strongly advised to submit documents as soon as they become available.
5 International applications are assessed on an on-going basis.  All application files must be completed at least  three weeks before the start of each session.

 

Application Process

1) Submit a complete online application through Apply Alberta.

2) Submit official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions that you have attended or are currently attending.

3) Satisfy the English Language Requirement.

5) Submit program-specific application documents, if applicable, listed below according to program. 

Master of Arts in Biblical and Christian Studies (MA)

1) A recent written sample of work in the area of Biblical or Christian Studies

  • Normally a research paper produced in the last two years of a BA program
  • Papers specifically prepared for application also will be accepted.

2) A statement of interest (approximately 500 words).

3) At least two letters of reference (sealed and endorsed) from two faculty members of the institution in which they completed most of their work in Religious Studies:

  • One letter from an instructor in fields related to the study of Christianity will be accepted.
  • One letter must be from an instructor who has taught in the area of the student’s proposed graduate concentration and who can speak to the student’s competence in that area.

Master of Information Systems Security Management (MISSM)

1) A professional resume and statement pf purpose.

2) For Canadian citizens & permanent residents:

  • A clear security clearance (e.g. Police Information Check).

NOTE: International applicants are not required to submit a security clearance since it will be done by the Canadian High Commission when they apply for study permits.

Master of Information Systems Assurance Management (MISAM)

1) A professional resume and a statement of purpose.

2) For Canadian citizens & permanent residents:

  • A clear security clearance (e.g. Police Information Check).

NOTE: International applicants are not required to submit a security clearance since it will be done by the Canadian High Commission when they apply for study permits.

Graduate Diploma in Information System Security (GSD-ISS)

1) A professional resume and a statement of purpose.

2) For Canadian citizens & permanent residents:

  • A clear security clearance (e.g. Police Information Check)

NOTE: International applicants are not required to submit a security clearance since it will be done by the Canadian High Commission when they apply for study permits.

Graduate Diploma in Information Assurance (GSD-IA)

1) A professional resume and a statement of purpose.

2) For Canadian citizens & permanent residents:

  • A clear security clearance (e.g. Police Information Check)

Graduate Diploma in Environmental Public Health Practice (GSD-EHP)

1) Demonstration of university courses in chemistry, microbiology and human or mammalian physiology.

2) A professional resume and a statement of career interests.

Graduate Certificates in Public Health (PHLD, PHSC, PHVP)

1) A professional resume.

Graduate Certificate/Diploma in Psychological Assessment (PA)

1) A professional resume and a statement of career objectives
